Camp Guidelines and Information
Campers are expected to acquaint themselves with the rules, procedures and standards of conduct established by the NORCIMCA Summer Music Academy. A camper who does not fulfill these responsibilities may be subject to dismissal from camp.
• Campers are required to bring all materials to every class, coaching or rehearsal..
• Campers are expected to attend ALL scheduled rehearsals, sectionals and performances. Attendance will be taken and you must notify an instructor if you are unable to attend.
• Campers must remain on campus while classes are in session. This includes during the group lunch. Campers are expected to attend lunch with the group unless receiving a pre-approved faculty exemption. Following lunch, campers should return to their scheduled rehearsal or class.
• Cell phones should not be used during rehearsals, meetings or sectionals.
• Never leave your personal belongings unattended. This includes instruments.
• Attire must be appropriate for collegiate level instruction at any institution.
• Possession of illegal drugs, drug paraphernalia, is not permitted.
Prescription medication is only allowed if prescribed by a doctor.
• No form of sexual misconduct, harassment, violence, threats of violence, bullying or other acts of communications intended to intimidate or harass are allowed.
• Vandalism and theft will result in immediate dismissal from the camp. Please treat the buildings, equipment and furniture with care.
